Truckers by Terry Pratchett

Truckers by Terry Pratchett is a funny and unexpected story focusing on perspective and some of life’s big questions like religion, politics and where the next meal lies. The author narrates as we watch a small, struggling clan of Nomes come face to face with wealthy powerful leaders of the Nome world. This I think is a metaphor for the rich and powerful in the west of our society and the more unfortunate people in the developing world. But the Nomes must unite and work together and find a rather dubious leader in Masklin, a bold, brash but uneducated Nome.
