My Sisters Keeper is a very touching story telling the tale of a family who isn't quite as you would call, normal. Kate Fitzgerald was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic leukemia when she was only aged two. Her parents made the decision to have a 'test tube baby', so they could give Kate anything she needed to in order to survive her disease. Fourteen years later, Kate is sixteen and the 'test tube baby', is named Anna and is thirteen years old. Anna has finally decided that she's had enough after her mother told her that she will need to donate a kidney to her poorly sister. When Anna says she wont do it, her mother gets furious. Anna then decides to take matters into her own hands and a hire her own lawyer, Campbell Alexander, for a petition to get medical emancipation for her rights to decide about her medical treatment. At the end of the story something terrible happens to the Fitzgerald family. When I was reading this book I felt as if the story was true. The author captures the life of everyone involved with a cancer patient in the family and how one person can change many lives forever. I would definitely rate this book nine out of ten, but it's so sad that I couldn't possibly rate this book ten out of ten.

The Damned UTD by David Peace
The Damned UTD by David Peace is a fascinating and thrilling insight into the legendary forty-four days Brian Clough lead Leeds United. Peace combines fact and fiction to re-ignite one of the most controversial topics in English football. Set in post-war Britain, the novel follows Clough rapid rise to managerial stardom and demise as Leeds gaffer. The author describes every day of Ol' Big 'Eads reign and sheds some light on the more mysterious events. We are granted access to the inner-workings of Clough's mind and observe as the story unfolds. If you are interested in football this book is outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed the book 10/10.
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time is written by Mark Haddon. It's about a fifteen year old teenager with Asperger's Syndrome who has many behavioural problems and keeps to himself. And when he finds his neighbour's dog killed with a garden fork, he starts an investigation on who killed Wellington. But later uncovers many more mysteries... This is a great book. It is sad but also funny and anyone can read it from thirteen to a hundred and thirteen! I give this book 9/10!
The Fault in Our Stars
Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters are just normal teenagers. Apart from one thing, the cancer. John Green has done an amazing job in writing this book because it will make you laugh and cry at the same time. Hazel and Augustus do everything together, until one day while in Amsterdam for a short holiday, Augustus tells Hazel some very bad news about his cancer. Then something awful happens. This book was very believable because it told the story of modern teenagers with cancer including all the heart breaking details any cancer sufferer has.

Henderson's Boys: Eagle Day
This book is the second in the series of Henderson's Boys. This book is just as great as the previous book. He is also the author of the famous Cherub books. Robert Muchamore (the author) has been able to use the time setting and all the characters very well.
He is also very good at keeping the reader interested throughout the book and I found it hard to put it down.
I give this book 9 out of 10 as I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to the next book, Henderson's Boys: Secret Army!
